THE BOAT PARADE: A FLASH TO THE PAST

AS MANY OF THE ISLANDERS ALREADY KNOW, EVERY YEAR WE TRY TO ORGANIZE A BOAT PARADE FOR THE 4TH OF JULY...

THIS YEAR, LETS ALL GET A HEAD START IN THE PLANNING.  AFTER TALKING TO A FEW ISLANDERS, WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO GET MORE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THE BOAT PARADE.

THIS YEAR, 2013, THE THEME WILL BE:

 "A FLASH TO THE PAST"

FOR ANYONE WHOM IS INTERESTED, COME WITH YOUR BOAT DECORATED AS YOUR FAVORITE CLASSIC TV SHOW! 

FOR EXAMPLE, SOME OF US WILL BE BRINGING BACK THE CLASSIC, GILLIGAN'S ISLAND! WATCH OUT FOR THE SS MINNOW!  

HOW MANY DIFFERENT TV CLASSICS CAN WE GET OUT ON THE LAKE FOR 2013?

To fish or not to fish?

Brrrrrrr! It is so cold up here in Wisconsin!  With the cold weather has anyone been out doing some ice fishing?

AN ISLANDER'S BEST FRIEND... OR NOT?

Well, on the plus side with all this snow, we won't be expecting our friends anytime soon! Our yards will be clean for a few awhile more, but how with they look when our friends come knocking at the door?

LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!

I guess I better start being careful what I wish for! It is a winter wonderland outside!

February is coming up, the longest month of the year (seems to be without the snow)... I can't wait for spring to be here!
